Only a mile away from the A40 near to Goodrich Castle and the infamous Coppett Hill in the Wye Valley, known as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Forest of Dean, rural Herefordshire and Wales are only a few miles away. Our extensive food menu changes with the seasons and locally sourced produce is used and presented to rosette standard, all cooked fresh to order. Enjoy sipping a glass of wine from our extensive French and World wines. We support Herefordshire's beer and cider making culture and our membership with Cask Marque guarantees you great ale. The bar is an old fashioned country inn, steeped in history with many old photo's of the area. Our corridors and large elegant restaurant walls are adorned with local artists work, available for sale. We have a bustling village community that often uses the 'Till' to meet (the local nickname for us). We actively promote local talent in both our restaurant and bar areas to entertain our guests....a sociable bunch, we hope you will occasionally join us. Why not enjoy the full experience for longer and stay a while in one of our eight rooms with courtesy tray, en-suite bathroom, free-view television at B&B or dinner, bed and breakfast rates. Free Wi-fi and ample car parking is available. We have a large garden and secure lock-up for bikes, fishing gear and even space for a few canoes.
